Delta Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Centre – Summer Intern Opportunities

Looking for a summer job that’s fun, engaging, and right in your own community? The Delta Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Centre is hiring individuals between the ages of 15-30  to join our team!

As a Summer Intern, you’ll be at the heart of Delta’s tourism scene—welcoming visitors, sharing local insights, supporting exciting community events, and helping showcase everything that makes Delta such a special place to live, work, and explore.

🌟 What You’ll Do

At the Visitors Centre:

• Welcome and assist visitors with information about Delta’s attractions, events, and local businesses.
• Provide maps, brochures, and recommendations to enhance the visitor experience.
• Support community events and tourism initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting visitor space.
• Track visitor statistics and assist with daily reporting.

At the Delta Chamber of Commerce (Administrative Support):

• Assist with general office administration, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
• Support membership services by updating databases and preparing welcome packages.
• Help with event preparation, such as assembling materials and managing registration lists.
• Answer phone and email inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

• Hourly Wage: Starting at $18.25 per hour
