The modern Wallenius Wilhelmsen Group was established in 1999 as a strategic joint venture between Wallenius Lines and Wilh. Wilhelmsen. This merger combined Wallenius’ innovative shipping solutions with Wilhelmsen’s extensive experience in liner services, particularly in the car and rolling cargo sector. The joint venture aimed to meet the growing global demand for efficient RoRo transportation, specializing in automobiles, trucks, rolling equipment, and breakbulk cargo

We control 125 vessels servicing 15 trade routes to six continents, together with a global inland distribution network, 66 service & processing centres, and 7 marine terminals.
