About
The Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association was formed in January 1991 with the mandate to build and maintain a strong business community, and to promote the commercial district of Sunny Tsawwassen (Delta), so that our businesses thrive and prosper. The main intersection of 56th Street and 12th Avenue is the heart of town; and with over 275 businesses ranging from retail shops, award-winning restaurants & unique cafés, and a variety of professional services - from Centennial Beach to Tsawwassen Springs; and from the Canada/US border up to Highway 17 in our southern-most community of Delta, BC, Sunny Tsawwassen has so much to explore!
Our members range from small retail owner-operated businesses to larger corporate entities, and member breakdown is equal between the professional sector and retail/service sector. Now in its seventh 5-year term, the Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association and its volunteer board of directors continue to focus on promotion & business development, and on creating economic opportunities for its members through many avenues including: marketing & advertising programs; commercial and municipal-owned area beautification and placemaking; advocating & liaising with the Mayor & Delta Council and tourism/business organizations; and by sponsoring many of the special events which bring people here and keep reminding us all of why we love our family-friendly beach community of Sunny Tsawwassen!
