Delta Firefighters do more than just fight fires. We are committed to serving our community both at work through our fire department service, as well as in our spare time through numerous charitable organizations and local initiatives.

The Delta Firefighters Charitable Society was founded on September 20, 1994 and is 100% run and organized by our firefighters who donate their time to assist our fundraising efforts.

Our mandate is to raise, collect and disburse funds to charities and organizations within Delta as well as a few select provincial and national charities whose cause is near and dear to our heart.

Our firefighters can be found at many local events throughout Delta during the year. It is likely that you have also seen us in the community every September when we conduct our annual boot drive, raising funds for the Society
