A well considered fit, grown woman sensibility, conscious & ethical manufacturing decisions, beautiful fabrications & inspired but wearable colour stories. Solving the need for dynamic women of all sizes to look fantastic while being completely comfortable; freeing them up to leverage their considerable knowledge, passion and skill to run the world.

Coming of age in the late 90's and heavily influenced by the hip hop revolution, the word 'tight' was a frequent visitor in Ayr's vernacular.  With a completely different meaning and use than originally intended, 'tight' described anything with a special quality.  So, if good design was 'tight', remarkable design was 'Ayr-tight'. Naturally.

Established 2001 - Raised by a Toronto theater costume designer, Ayr had a passion for design in her DNA.  For many of the early years, AYRTIGHT was purely a creative outlet with no commercial intentions.  A dress designer to her core, Ayr designed an army of fantastic, albeit impractical, combinations that were frequently showcased in local fashion shows. 

Reinvented 2014 - Identifying a distinctive gap in the market for accessible luxury that celebrates women by offering them considered, modern, unapologetic fashion, Ayr launched AYRTIGHT with newfound purpose. Sophistication made simple.
