Each year, September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to honor the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital part of the reconciliation process.We invite you to join us for a very special After 5 event on Wednesday, September 25th, at Harris Barn in Ladner, presented by Fortis BC.Nathan Kaanáx̱ Kuwóox̱ʼ Wilson will be our guest speaker, sharing his story about his lands, his family, and the deep connections his people have had with these lands for generations.
